2024 Grant Guidelines and Application

The Women's Giving Circle of Harford County (WGC) grant program assists a wide range of nonprofit organizations' projects and/or programs directly benefitting women, children, and/or families in Harford County.

The purpose of the program is to provide one-year grants of up to $5,000 each to nonprofit organizations that provide services in Harford County, Maryland. Grant funds may be used for direct costs related to projects/ programs, such as but not limited to, personnel, equipment, materials, supplies, and administration. The term of the award will begin on the date of the award letter (projected for June 2024). Awarded grant funds must be utilized during the term and fully expended by June 30, 2025.

Applications must be RECEIVED by 12 p.m. (noon) on Monday, March 11, 2024, and must be submitted online only in accordance with the instructions provided in the link below.

Two optional pre-application meetings for potential applicants to learn more about the 2024 grant application process are scheduled for January 23, 2024 at 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.  For details go to Women's Giving Circle 2024 Grant Cycle - Pre-Application Meeting and register for either the 10 a.m. or 5 p.m. Zoom meeting.

Grantee Reporting

Grantees are reminded that a report of activities and expenditures for the project/program must be submitted to the Grant Committee at wgcharfordcogrants@gmail.com at the conclusion of the project, but no later than the due date for a subsequent WGC grant application. Grant applications submitted by grantees who are not in compliance with this reporting requirement will not be considered for funding.
